Popular UV-maker Mahindra has been testing a mysterious MPV on the Indian roads for quite some time now. Although the MPV has been caught on camera quite a few times, there is not much information available on the same.
Now the MPV has been caught on camera yet again, this time too in its fully disguised avatar. The online buzz suggests that the MPV could either be a Xylo makeover or an all-new model from the UV- maker's stable. Judging by the images, the MPV is likely to be a seven or eight-seater model.
Little else is known about the model, but the pictures that emerged online from Team BHP now give a closer look at the front facia of the vehicle. The MPV is rumoured to take on the likes of Toyota's popular Innova Crysta.
It is likely to boast a boxy design with MPV stance and will underpin an all-new platform. Grapevine has it that the MPV could get a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine or a downsized 1.99-litre mHawk diesel engine under the hood.
Although it is too early to comment on the arrival of this model in the Indian market, rumours suggest that it could happen in 2017. There are no words on the name of this model as yet.
