Home-grown UV maker Mahindra's new sub-four meter SUV TUV300 (Tough Utility Vehicle) is scheduled to break its cover in India by mid-September. Now ahead of its launch in the country, the company has launched the microsite for its new TUV300, giving auto enthusiasts in the country an early glimpse at the model.
It was just a day ago Mahindra revealed the name of it upcoming SUV as TUV300, which is often referred to as new gen Bolero on the cyber space. The website of TUV300 provides a sneak peek at the design inspiration of the new small SUV, which is gearing for its launch in the country in coming weeks. There is also teaser video of the same, which shows the logo of the vehicle sketches. The new microsite of TUV300 allows the interested buyers of TUV 300 to track the launch of the model by registering online.
The new TUV300, which has been designed with the help of design firm Pininfarnia, will feature a flat-roof, exposed spare heel, massive bonnet and short overhangs. Although the engine specifications of the new TUV300 is not known, Mahindra has confirmed that the mini SUV will feature mHawk80 diesel engine.
At the time of launch, TUV300 will not be offered in 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) version, however, the platform of the new SUV is conjure said TUV300 platform is ready for 4WD as well.
