Mahindra pulled the wraps off its highly anticipated compact SUV TUV300 in India with a price tag starting at Rs 6.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra TUV300 also comes equipped with AMT, the first SUV to have AMT on offer. Mahindra TUV300, the sub-four meter SUV which will compete against the likes Ford EcoSport comes plonked with 1.5-liter twin-scroll mHawk80 diesel engine, which is tuned to produce 80 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. The transmission in TUV300 is taken care of by either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox.

Finally, the day is here. The hotly anticipated Mahindra's new compact SUV TUV300 is all set to go on sale in India on 10 September (Thursday). The company will pull the wraps off its new TUV300 on Thursday at 11.00 AM.
Mahindra TUV300 is also speculated to come in Micro Hybrid technology avatar, which is seen in the company's models like Scorpio. Micro Hybrid technology will help to save fuel by switching off the engine when the vehicle comes to a halt.
Expected to be available in three trims -- T4, T6 and T8 -- and six exterior body shades -- red, white, silver, black, blue and orange -- Mahindra TUV300 is likely to fall in the price brackets of Rs 6.70 lakh to Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
As for features, expect TUV300 to house a touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera and alloy wheels, front-grille with chrome inserts, a flat roof, roof rails, short overhangs, swept-back headlamps, body-coloured door handles, door mirrors and bumpers.
