Mahindra's compact SUV TUV300 has reportedly amassed 12,000 bookings in India so far since its entry into the market in September this year.
A report of Auto Car India states that the TUV300, the 'toughest SUV' has received 12,000 bookings, out of which 50% are for the AMT variant of the model. Mahindra TUV300, the first model to get AMT technology in its segment, has been priced in the range of Rs 6.9 lakh and Rs 9.12 lakh.
The AMT is offered in T6+ and T8+ variants with a price tag of Rs 8.52 lakh and 9.12 lakh respectively. The report adds that the TUV300 has been witnessing great demand in the country and production is currently going at a rate of 5,000 units per month.
TUV300 compact SUV, the battle tank inspired sub-four metre model, is powered by 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, mHawk80 diesel engine which is tuned to churn out 84bhp power and 230Nm torque. The engine comes paired to either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
Priced in the range of Rs 6.9 lakh and Rs 9.12 lakh, Mahindra TUV300 offered in three variants -- TUV300 T4, TV300 T6 and TUV300 T8. The SUV is available in six body colour options -- red, black, orange, silver, blue and white.
