The upcoming micro-SUV, codenamed S101, from the house of Mahindra has been snapped once again while undergoing testing in the country. This time, the spy shots partially reveal the cabin of the model.
Caught on camera by a reader of Indian Autos blog in Chennai, the cabin reveals piano black accent for centre console and three chrome ringed dials that is positioned vertically. There is chrome touch around the centre console, AC vents and on the steering wheel and can also see small display placed on top. The gear-lever is mounted on the dashboard and door panels get silver and piano black accents. With 5+1 seating arrangement, S101 gets bench-type seat on the front row.
Built on an all-new monocoque platform, the sub-4-metre micro-SUV is expected make its market debut by March 2016. The engine line-up of Mahindra S101 is likely to include 1.2 diesel and petrol mills. As for features, the vehicle will come equipped with a range of safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD in its top-end variant.
To be pitted against Maruti Suzuki wagon R, Mahindra S101 likely to get a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh.
