Popular utility vehicle maker Mahindra is busy putting its upcoming models through testing in the country. The company's upcoming compact SUV, S101, has returned in a fresh batch spy shots ahead of its launch and shows it in its production guise.
The new set spy shots come from Indian Autos Blog. From the images, the rear profile of Mahindra S101 shows a rear wiper, rear roof rails and wraparound tail lamps. The prototype of S101 also shows a crossover styling from the back.
As for features, S101 is expected to get 3+3 seating configuration with bench-type seat in the front and is likely to include anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, four airbags, and an electronic stability programme.
S101, a sub-four metre compact SUV, is likely to draw power from the company's new engine lineup. The model is also rumoured to be equipped with AMT variant and is expected to go on sale in India by the end of the year with a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh.
