Fresh shots of Mahindra's upcoming compact SUV, which is internally termed as S101, have hit the web, this time giving away the clue that the model could come in striking yellow colour.
Snapped by team MotorOctane, the latest spy shots of Mahindra S101 show the yellow shade of the model which is clearly an indication of the company's next target, the country's young buyers, luring them with funky colour schemes. As we know already, Mahindra's soon-to-be-launched mini-SUV TUV300 will also be hitting the road with orange body paint.
Coming back to S101, the model which is purportedly named CUV100 is expected to make an entry to the market in 2015 with a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh. From what we know so far, it is a sub-four metre compact SUV and is likely to draw power from the company's new engine line-up. The model is also rumoured to be equipped with AMT variant.
S101 is expected to get 3+3 seating configuration with bench type seat in the front and the feature list of the model is likely to include anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, four airbags, and electronic stability programme.
