Popular utility vehicle maker Mahindra is all set to reveal the name of its upcoming SUV, code-named U301, in India on 30 July.
The company said the name and other key details of new Mahindra U301, a sub-four metre SUV, also known as the new generation Bolero, will be detailed officially on 30 July.
The car lovers in the country have already seen numerous spy shots and leaked reports of U301 and from what we have known, U301 is expected to hit the showrooms during the festive season this year.
Under the hood, Mahindra's new Bolero is expected to pack a 1.5 litre diesel engine, which can churn out 100PS power and 240Nm torque. We hear that the engine could be tweaked a little for a better fuel efficiency.
The new Bolero is likely to get features like a music system with Bluetooth, USB and aux-connectivity, black dashboard with silver accent, new gear knob, chrome-lined instrument cluster, three-spoke steering wheel, rear AC vents, ABS and dual front airbags.
When launched, the new generation Bolero will be pitted against Chevrolet Tavera and Tata Sumo and is likely to be priced around Rs 6 lakh.
