Mojo, the flagship motorcycle from Mahindra Two Wheelers, will reportedly get a new shade in India soon. The 300cc motorcycle will be available in the Sunburst Yellow shade, in addition to the existing three colours — Volvano Red, Charcoal Black and Glacier White.
The new colour is expected to be introduced without any increase in price. The Mojo has been priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Mahindra showcased the Mojo in Sunburst Yellow colour at the Auto Expo 2016.
Mojo, a motorcycle focused on touring, is powered by a 292cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out 27bhp at 8,000rpm and 30Nm torque at 5,500rpm. It measures 2,100mm in length, 800mm in width and 1165.5mm in height. The motorcycle competes against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke twins in India and comes with a 21-litre fuel tank capacity.
Mojo made its India debut in October 2015, and is being launched in a phased manner in different part of the country.
Mahindra also launched the Mojo Tourer edition last month with a wide range of accessories. The Mojo Tourer edition has been priced at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The special edition comes with a magnetic tank bag, saddle bag and carrier with a combined storage space of 38 litres, and a fully adjustable mobile holder. Mojo Tourer also gets front guard made from high-strength and corrosion-resistant material to protect the fuel tank, radiator guard and engine. Pannier mount gets a matte black powder coat finish and fog lamp.
