It looks like Mahindra's 300cc Mojo is ready to hit the road, after years of speculations.
The web is abuzz with a fresh batch of spy shots of Mojo 300, this time showing the model in its production-ready guise.
Folks at Motoroids have managed to click the pictures in Delhi.
In the images, the most interesting part is the new graphic design on the bike and it appears the mildly-tweaked Mojo 300 is the final version of the bike that will be seen in the showrooms.
Apart from showing the cosmetic changes on the Mojo 300, the original publisher of the spy shots has also revealed that the engine of the bike will be tuned to churn out a power of 31.2 bhp, which is quite an interesting figure for a 300cc model.
Mojo 300, which will draw power from a 296cc liquid cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, was earlier rumoured to produce a power of 27bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque 25nm at 6,500rpm. The transmission of the Mojo will be taken care of by a six-speed gearbox.
Coming back to the spy shots, the changes noticed on Mojo 300 are 3D-effect logo on the tank, black painted engine case, Mahindra branding on the engine, black handlebar and extended pillion garb rails.
The Mojo is expected to include LED daytime-running lights and a new fuel tank. Most importantly, the bike is likely to flaunt USD (Up Side Down) forks and twin mufflers.
Other speculated features are mudguard, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels and LED tail-light. The stopping power of the bike is likely to come from the disc brakes seen on both front and rear wheels.
Expected to be priced at around ₹2 lakh, the Mahindra Mojo 300 will take on the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke.
