The long wait for Mahindra's much anticipated Mojo motorcycle is finally getting over as the company has now kick-started the online promotion campaign for the model.
The company has released a teaser video of Mojo on YouTube ahead of its launch in the country, and the motorcycle's Facebook page has also gone live, giving the motor enthusiasts in the country an early glimpse at the model.
The teaser video of Mojo revealed the logo of the new 300cc model from the house of Mahindra. The video also provides a sneak peek into the overall design of Mojo 300 which is scheduled to break its cover in the country in coming weeks. Although the exact launch date of Mahindra Mojo is not revealed yet, rumours on the web indicate that the new motorcycle will go on sale on 16 October.
For the uninitiated, Mahindra Mojo 300, which is set to enter the 300cc segment, is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine that can pump out a power of 27bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque 30Nm at 6,500rpm.
As for the features, Mojo 300 will come with LED daytime-running lights, new fuel tank, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels and LED tail light.
When launched, Mojo 300 will be pitched against Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke and is likely to get a price tag of below Rs 2 lakh. The bookings for Mojo are underway at some dealers of Mahindra.
