Mahindra Two Wheelers has expanded the availability of its quarter-litre motorcycle Mojo in other cities in India nearly five months after the motorcycle's launch in cities like New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore. The company, which is launching the Mojo in a phased manner, is expected to add more cities in the list in the coming days.
The Mojo, which made its India debut in October this year, will now also be available in 15 new markets such as Ahmadabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Visakapatnam. The Mojo has been priced at Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai).
For the uninitiated, Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 292cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that can churn out 27bhp at 8,000rpm and 30Nm torque at 5,500rpm. The power is transmitted via a six-speed constant mesh transmission.
The Mojo measures 2,100mm in length, 800mm in width and 1165.5mm in height. The tourer has a wheelbase of 1,465mm and seat height 814.5mm with a ground clearance of 173.5mm. The two-wheeler comes with a fuel tank capacity of 21 litres and has a dry weight of 165 kg.
Offered in three colours, white, black and red, the Mojo is pitted against Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke twins.
