New spy pics of Mahindra Mojo 300 have popped up on the web, hinting that the company is preparing to pull the wraps off the bike in the country soon.
Mahindra Mojo 300, a bike which conquered the minds of many two wheeler enthusiasts around the world has hit the cyberspace once again through fresh batch of spy images, rising expectations that the bike lovers could get their hands on this heady machine soon.
The new san camouflaged Mojo 300 images has been posted by the folks at Auto Car India who caught the bike on test near Pune.
The Mojo 300, which made its first appearance in 2010 and later at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, is expected to draw its power from 300cc liquid cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine. The engine can churn out a power of 27 bhp at 8000 rpm and a peak torque 25 Nm at 6500 rpm. The stopping power of Mojo 300 is likely to be handled by the single front and rear disc brake.
From the latest images, the bike looks nearly production ready and is similar to the concept shown at the Delhi Auto Expo. Mojo 300 is likely to wear new headlights with DRL (daytime running lights), mudguard and LED tail-light and is likely to get telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike is expected to come mated to a 6-speed transmission and would sport disc brakes, USD forks and Pirelli Sport Demon tyres .
The bike will be pitted against Pulsar CS, Pulsar SS, the Kawasaki Ninja 300R, the Honda CBR 250R/300R and the KTM Duke 390 in the domestic market and is rumoured to fall in the price range of ₹2 lakh. Although the latest report does not reveal anything about the launch date of the bike in the country, rumours are rife that the Mojo 300 will reach the market by the end of this year.
