Ahead of the festive season launch, Mahindra's long awaited motorcycle the Mojo 300 was caught completely undisguised.

The pictures posted by IndianAutosBlog seem to be the production spec version and is in line with concept shown. In the images, the unique twin-headlamp has a black cowl and daytime running lights is seen positioned above the headlamps. The motorcycle flaunts USD (Up Side Down) forks in dual colour tone and the bars that run under the fuel tank come in golden shade.

The Mojo is also expected get Pirelli Sport Demon tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels. The stopping power of the bike is likely to come from the disc brakes seen on both front and rear wheels. Additionally, Mojo will also feature tank mounted ignition key and chunky exhaust pipes.

Mahindra Mojo 300 is likely to draw power from a 296cc liquid cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that can churn out power of 27bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque 25Nm at 6,500rpm, and is likely to come mated to a six-speed transmission.

Expected to be priced around Rs 2 lakh, Mahindra Mojo 300 will take on the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke when launched in India.

Mahindra first showcased the Mojo prototype at the 2010 Auto Expo. Since then, the company has been working towards bringing the final product to India. Considering that it's taken more than 5 years in developing, auto lovers have high expectations from the Mojo.
