Mahindra Launches XUV500 Xclusive Edition with Sunroof; Price, Feature Details [PHOTOS]

Popular UV maker Mahindra and Mahindra took the wraps off the new edition of its XUV500 dubbed XUV500 Xclusive, in India with a price tag of ₹14.48 Lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

As reported earlier, the new Xclusive XUV500 comes with electric sunroof along with a slew of other new features like driver information system and fully automatic temperature control.

The new model, which is based on the on the XUV500 W8 variant, will be sold only in limited numbers in the country and will continue to draw power from the same engine of the current model. The 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk diesel mill has the capacity to churn out a power of 140 bhp at 3,750 rpm and peak torque of 330 Nm at 1,600-2,800 rpm.

Other features are power adjustable driver's seat, reverse parking camera, aluminium pedals, illuminated scuff plates, Xclusive badge, anti-pinch drivers' window and 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat (optional).

The safety features of the XUV500 include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), BS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Hold Control and Hill Descent Control.

Available in two variants –with powered driver's seat and without powered driver's seat – the new XUV500 has been priced at ₹14,59,396 and ₹14,75681 respectively (ex-showroom, Bangalore).
