Homegrown UV maker Mahindra is scheduled to launch its new mini-SUV, KUV100, in India on 15 January, which the automaker is aiming at first-time and young buyers in the country. As testing of the soon-to-be-launched KUV100 continues on Indian roads, another set of spy images have hit the web, this time giving a closer look at the interiors of the model.
Mahindra KUV100 has already become a regular fixture in the auto world, with its specifications and images being leaked out periodically and to add to this long list is the latest set of spy images from the team Motoroids. The images show the cabin of the model in its completely revealed form. Mahindra KUV100's gear lever has been mounted on the dashboard just like the Datsun Go, and there are vertically placed HVAC knobs on the centre console. The micro-SUV gets a new multi-functions steering wheel and two central AC vents.

To be offered in four variants — K2, K4, K6 and K8 — with the K2+, K4+ and K6+ sub-variants, the new min-SUV is speculated to come in both five and six-seater options. While the K2 and K2+ are expected to come with the six-seater option, the KUV100 is likely to be available in both options K4 onwards. Mahinra KUV100 which will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Tata Zica and Hyundai Grand i10 in India once it hits the markets. It is rumoured to get a price tag starting at Rs 4 lakh.
The engine line-up of the Mahindra KUV100 will include the company's new engine mFalcon. The petrol 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 engine is tuned to churn out 82bhp and 114Nm, and the 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 diesel engine can develop 77bhp and a peak torque of 190Nm. The transmission is likely to be taken care of by a five-speed manual gearbox in both the diesel and petrol versions.
