In a bid to cash on the increased sales during Diwali, Mahindra Two Wheelers have launched a special edition of the Gusto scooter, which has been priced at Rs 49,350, ex-showroom Delhi. The special edition essentially comes with new two-tone paint finishes and is priced Rs 500 more than the regular model.
The new dual-tone colours is available only with the top of the line VX trim and is called Silver Magenta and Ice Cool Red. The single tone colours that include Volcanic Red, Iceberg White, Galactic Black, Magnetic Magenta and Organza Silver are also available in all trims.
The Mahindra Gusto is powered by a 109.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 8bhp at 7500rpm and 9Nm of torque at 5500rpm mated to a CVT gearbox. The scooter also returns ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 63 kmpl.
The Scooter measures 1825mm in length, 697mm in width and 1188mm height with a wheelbase of 1275. The Gusto is sold in DX, HX and VX trims, which is priced from Rs 44,850 to Rs 48,850, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The scooter boasts of features such as height adjustable seat, remote flip key, telescopic front suspension, storage area under the display panel and halogen headlamp with LED lamps.
Apart from bringing special edition, Mahindra also offers free insurance on the scooter as part of the festive season offer.
