Mahindra 2 Wheelers revealed Gusto 125 on Monday, 11 December, ahead of its February launch in the country. The model will be launched after the Auto Expo 2016.
Mahindra Gusto 125 -- the powerful version of Gusto 110 -- shares more than a passing resemblance to the current one in the market. However, the new Gusto gets new body graphics to make it look different from the existing model. Gusto 125 will also get some new body colours.
At the heart, Gusto 125 gets 124.57 cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, M-TEC engine that is tuned to develop 8.5bhp of power at 7,000 rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm with CVT. Although the fuel efficiency of the new Mahindra offering has not been revealed yet, expect it to be around 60kmpl.
In terms of dimensions, Gusto 125 measures 1,825 mm in length, 711 mm in width, 1,188 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,275 mm. It has a ground clearance of 165 mm and a 6-litre fuel tank. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic at the front and monoshock at the rear. Like Gusto 110, Gusto 125 also gets features like height adjustable seat, remote flip key with guide lamp, follow-me-home headlamp and LED pilot lamps.
