After the launch, the Alturas G4 will hit dealership floors on November 26. The seven-seat SUV will be offered in five colour options - New Pearl White, Napoli Black, Lakeside Brown, Dsat Silver and Regal Blue.
The Alturas G4 would be exclusively offered through a separate high-end section within the existing Mahindra 'World of SUVs' dealerships. The company claims these outlets will be equipped with ultra-modern digital technology to provide an enhanced and immersive experience for customers.
In addition, Mahindra will also introduce a new premium loyalty program, called Purple Club+. The Purple Club+ program will be a first-in-category loyalty program that would enable customers to earn and redeem points based on engagements with the brand.
Mahindra & Mahindra is yet to officially release the details of the engine. The Alturas G4 is expected to draw power from a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine, capable to produce 180hp and 450Nm of peak torque. The mill is likely to come mated to a seven-speed torque converter automatic transmission while manual transmission option will not be offered.
The Alturas G4 will go up against Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour and hence prices are expected to hover around Rs 30 lakh. Mahindra has already started accepting bookings for Rs 50,000.
