The makers of Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu" and SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" have planned to hold grand functions for their audio releases on two different dates in June.
Directed by Koratala Siva, "Srimanthudu" is one of the highly-anticipated Telugu films of 2015. Young musician Devi Sri Prasad has teamed up with Mahesh Babu for the second time after the release of his last outing "1: Nenokkadine". Besides background score, the composer has also scored music for the soundtracks of the film.
The producers of "Srimanthudu" are said to have grand plans for its music launch and they are yet to make an official announcement about the details of guests, venue and date of its audio release. But if we are to go by the reports, the event is expected to take place in a grand way in Hyderabad on 27 June. Later, the film will be released in theatres on 17 July.
"Baahubali" is another eagerly-awaited Tollywood film. MM Keeravani has composed the music for its songs, while Lahari Music acquired its audio rights for a record price of ₹3 crore. Its audio was expected to hit the stalls on 31 May, but the event was postponed due to security issues.
Initially, the makers of "Baahubali" had planned to release both its audio and trailer on the same platform and date. Having delayed its audio launch, they released its trailer on 2 June. They are yet to announce the details of its music release. Sources close to the production team say that the event will take place at Ramoji Film City on 10 June.
The music launch of "Baahubali" is going to be one of the biggest Tollywood events as it is expected to be attended by thousands of fans. Currently, the makers are said to be busy with arrangements for the same. Once they complete working on accommodation of fans, they are likely to make an official announcement about its audio release.
