The makers of Mahesh Babu's Spyder have finally locked-in the release date of the film. The much-awaited promotional video from the bilingual movie will hit the internet on 31 May.
Of late, there were reports of the teaser of Spyder being out in the second week of May. But the plans have undergone changes and it will be now released on the aforementioned date to coincide with the birthday celebration of Mahesh Babu's father and actor Krishna. So far, the makers have unveiled the motion poster of Spyder and it has met with fantastic response from the audience.
Currently, the team is busy filming an important portion in Hyderabad. It is said to be the last leg of filming following which the post-production works will commence. Initially, it was said that the makers had set their eyes on releasing the film during Eid on June 23.
However, the release was pushed for some reasons to the Independence Day week in August. Now, the latest rumours are that the flick will be released in October. The makers are yet to give a clarification on the issue.
Spyder is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. Mahesh Babu plays the role of a secret agent and Rakul Preet Singh is his leading lady in the flick, while SJ Surya is the antagonist in the AR Murugadoss-directorial flick. Bharath, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, RJ Balaji and others are in the supporting roles.
The film has Harris Jayaraj's music, Santosh Sivan's cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad's editing.
