"1Nenokkadine" is gearing up for a big release in the southern state. According to the distributors, the Mahesh Babu starrer is the most-preferred film over Ajith's "Veeram" and Vijay's "Jilla". The Telugu film has apparently booked all screens in Karnataka. Bangalore multiplexes particularly have allotted big screens for the film, according to entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai.

Sreedhar said that Telugu films of big stars do better business than Tamil films of popular stars in Karnataka with Rajinikanth being the only exception. Since "1 Nenokkadine" is the most-preferred film for Sankranti in Karnataka, the state distributors want to buy "Veeram" and "Jilla" for reduced rates. However, the makers of the Ajith and Vijay starrers are not willing to budge.

"Distributors in Karnataka say Mahesh Babu's '1- Nenokkadine' is most preferred on Jan 10 & all B'lore 'Plexes have given their big screen 4 it," Sreedhar tweeted.

"Now distributors in Karnataka want #Jilla & #Veeram at reduced rates, but producers not willing 2 sell. Wait & watch policy."

Directed by Sukumar, "1Nenokkadine" is deemed as a stylish action thriller. The film's pre-release business has been fantastic with its distribution rights, satellite rights and audio rights being sold for good prices. The Mahesh Babu starrer is generating a lot of buzz thanks to the innovative promotional strategies carried out by the makers of the film.

Similarly, expectations are high for Ajith's "Veeram" and Vijay's "Jilla". While these two films are expected to get massive release in Tamil Nadu, they might have to battle it out with "1 Nenokkadine" in a bid to get enough number of screens in Karnataka.
