Director Puri Jagannath, who recently confirmed that he would direct Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150 film, has teamed up once again with Mahesh Babu for a film. This will be their third movie together.
On 13 May, Puri Jagannath, who has earlier worked with Mahesh Babu in "Pokiri" and "Businessman", took to his Twitter page to share the news of his third film with Prince. "Vry happy to share vit all Mahesh fans, just now finalised script for our 3rd film together.. Getting ready for hatrick Cheerrssss," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, his close friend, Ram Gopal Varma, who has already heard the story of the movie, praised Puri for his scripting work. In a series of tweets, the maverick filmmaker said that the film has a fantastic script and Mahesh Babu's role is much better than the ones he has played in the past.
On his Twitter handle, Ram Gopal Varma wrote, "Just heard puri jagans story with Mahesh babu..compared to this Sholay size of a story Pokiri, Businessman, Dookudu are Aag. Mahesh babu's character in Puri Jagan's new film is 10 times better than any character Jagan created and any character Mahesh babu played."
Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath's first two movies "Pokiri" and "Businessman" have not only become blockbusters at the box office, but also set several new records in the domestic and international markets. RGV feels that Prince will set a new benchmark with his third film.
"Mahesh babu character nd dialogue in Puri's is 10 times sexier than Sunny Leone nd 10 times more Bahubalier than Pokiri, Businessman, Dookudu. Going by the story I heard Puri Jagan, Mahesh babu film will set an ultra new bench mark for action entertainers and a Himalayan heroism," he said.
Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for Koratala Siva's tentatively titled "Srimanthudu". He will soon take up the filming for Srikanth Addala's project "Brahmotsavam". After wrapping up both the films, he is expected to join Puri Jagannath for their third combo film. Meanwhile, Puri is busy with pre-production work of Chiranjeevi's 150 film titled "Auto Johnny".
