The pre-release business of Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie with "Mirchi" fame Koratala Siva is already getting a serious pace. As per the latest reports, the US distribution of the upcoming flick has been acquired by Classics Entertainment, one of the leading names in distribution of South Indian movies overseas.
The recent track record of movies like "Temper", which had crossed $1million mark in the US alone is seen as the best example of acceptance of Telugu movies in the overseas market.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Mahesh Babu movie is one of the most awaited films of recent times and the superstar is touted to play the role of a non-resident Indian in the complete family entertainer.
The movie, which was launched in August 2014, has been making headlines for several reasons. From the movie's title to the remunerations of the actors, everything has been talked about.
The movie has been rumoured to be titled "Parakrama", "Magaadu", "Maa Akka Bangaram", "Srimanthudu" at several stages of production. The latest we hear is that the movie has been titled "Zamindar". However, an official confirmation is awaited and the movie is reportedly scheduled to release in May 2015.
Reports suggest that Shruthi Haasan has bagged the role in the movie for a remuneration of ₹12.5 million. The makers of the movie have also made sure that they have an impressive star cast, which includes Jagapathi Babu, Sukanya, Rajendra Prasad, Aamani, Sampath Raj and Brahmanandam.
The cinematography is handled by R Madhi while the music is composed by Devi Shri Prasad.
The yet-to-be-titled movie is produced by Y Naveen, Y Ravishankar and CV Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
