The countdown for the audio launch function of "Puli" has begun. While the audio of the Tamil movie will be released by Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, rumours are also rife that Mega Star Chiranjeevi too will be part of the event.
Mahesh Babu will be in Chennai this weekend to release the audio of "Selvandhan", the dubbed Tamil version of Telugu movie "Srimanthudu " and Vijay's "Puli". The news has been confirmed by leading journalist Sreedhar Pillai.
On his Twitter page, Pillai wrote, "@urstrulyMahesh in Chennai this weekend 4 promotion of #Selvandhan, Tamil dubbing of #Srimanthudu & 4 #Puli audio" His presence at the audio launch has become the talk of the town.
Like Vijay, Mahesh Babu commands a huge fan following worldwide and his presence at "Puli" audio release will give good publicity to the Vijay starrer. On the other hand, there is buzz that another Telugu star Chiranjeevi will also grace the function.
But nobody has confirmed till now whether Chiranjeevi will launch the audio or it is just a rumour. Meanwhile, the fans of Vijay have welcomed the news of Mahesh Babu launching the audio and are excited about the development.
The music of "Puli" will be launched at a grand function on 2 August at Confluence Resort in Mahabalipuram. The guest list of the event is not out yet, but it has been reported that all the star cast of the movie like Vijay, Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani will be part of the event.
The songs of "Puli" have been written by Vairamuthu and composed by Devi Sri Prasad. This is the fourth time that the music director is scoring music for a Vijay starrer after "Thirupaachi", "Sachein" and "Villu".
The movie directed by Chimbudevan will release next month. Meanwhile, a new poster of "Puli" has been released. Find it below:
