If latest reports are to be believed, Mahesh Babu-Puri Jagannadh's new film has been titled "Rogue".
Recent reports claimed that Mahesh will team up with director Puri for the third time, after the stupendous success of "Pokiri" and "Businessman". And the latest we hear is that the film will be named "Rogue", and is likely to go on floors in May next year, according to Deccan Chronicle.
Mahesh is currently busy with Koratala Siva's untitled film. The commercial entertainer went on floors this month and the shoot is expected to progress to next year as well. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead for the first time opposite Mahesh. Devi Sri Prasad takes care of the music, while Mythri Movies is producing the project.
Jagannadh, on the other hand, is working with Jr NTR for a new film, tentatively titled "Nenorakam". The first schedule of the film has been completed and the team is busy shooting the second.
NTR is reportedly donning the role of a cop in this film, touted as an action entertainer. Kajal Aggarwal plays the heroine opposite NTR for the third time, after "Brindavanam" and "Baadshah". Bandla Ganesh is producing the project under his Parameswara Art Productions banner.
Mahesh and Jagannadh will commence their film only after completing their respective projects. There will be huge expectations on the film as their last two releases turned out to be huge hits at the box office.
Both "Pokiri" and "Businessman" were commercial potboilers, and are among the films which ascertained Mahesh as a mass hero. "Rogue" is also expected to have mass elements that will impress the actor's fans. An official annocement regarding the film, its cast and crew is still awaited.
Mahesh is going through a lean phase with back-to-back failures like "1 Nenokkadine" and "Aagadu". Fans of the actor will be hoping that his upcoming projects with Siva and Jagannadh set the cash registers ringing. Both films are expected to hit the screens next year.
