Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set begin the filming of director AR Murugadoss' bilingual movie in July. Prince will first shoot a duet with Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra for the film.
It is rumoured that AR Murugadoss has roped in Parineeti to play the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu in his next directorial venture, which marks her debut in Southern films. The latest update on this project is the makers have planned to kick-start its shooting on July 15 and they will begin it with the filming of a duet song featuring Mahesh and Parineeti.
The duet song of the untitled project will reportedly be shot at a grand set erected at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The art director is now busy creating multiple sets for the film and he is expected to finish work by the end of June. This duet is composed by music director Harris Jayaraj and its makers are said to be shelling out a hefty sum on the picturisation of this soundtrack.
Mahesh Babu, who is holidaying with his family in London, will return to Hyderabad by the end of June and will join the shoot soon. He is reportedly playing an intelligence officer in the movie, which will portray the loop holes in the legal system. The actor will be seen as a police officer for the fourth time after "Pokiri," "Dookudu" and "Aagadu."
It was rumoured that director-turned-actor SJ Suryah would play a baddie in this yet-to-be-titled movie. Director AR Murugadoss has confirmed the news on his Twitter handle on Wednesday. The filmmaker tweeted, "@iam_SJSuryah plays antagonist in my next Looking forward to work with him ..." In reply, SJ Suryah wrote, "Same here sir Sjs."
The untitled project, which brings Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss together for the first time, is reportedly being made on a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crore. The film is bankrolled by Supergood Films. Santosh Sivan has been roped as the cinematographer for the movie.
