RT Neason, the creator of Vijay's "Jilla", seems to be ready to direct South's A-list stars again. The director is likely to helm a movie featuring none other than Mahesh Babu and Mohanlal in a trilingual movie (Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam).
Initially, many assumed that it would be a remake of "Jilla" as two big names are part of this project. But now it has been revealed by a source that the speculations are not true. We have to note that the talks are on and nothing has been confirmed yet.
A production house is in talks with Mahesh Babu, Mohanlal and RT Neason, who is yet to discuss about the storyline with both the stars. A source has told The Times of India that it is not a remake of "Jilla".
"A leading production house has initiated talks with Neason and Mahesh Babu. Neason is yet to narrate the script to the actor. Only after Neason meets the actor, the project will be confirmed. It is an entirely new script and it will not be a remake of Jilla," a source said, the daily reports.
The source adds, "Talks are on with Mohanlal also for a crucial role and perhaps, because of Lal's involvement, people might have assumed that this was a remake."
The report adds that the proposed project will be made in three languages, which means Mahesh Babu will finally make his debut in Tamil.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is busy with Kortala Siva's untitled movie, which also features Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The movie is likely to release in May. It is only after this project, the proposed movie can begin.
