Srikanth Addala, who has previously worked with Mahesh Babu in blockbuster film "Seetamma Vakitlo Seerimalle Chettu" (SVSC), has teamed up with the Superstar for the second time in "Brahmotsavam". The script of the film features the character of a child and the director has reportedly planned on roping in Sitara for the role. Not much is known about her role in the film.
His father Krishna had introduced Mahesh Babu to the film industry with his film "Needa". Later, Prince went on to act in eight other movies as a child artist. Like his father, he introduced his son Gautham to films with "1: Nenokkadine". Though it failed to make it big at the box office, the film gave much needed attention to the young actor. Now, he is making his daughter Sitara debut as a child artiste with "Brahmotsavam".
"Brahmotsavam" is a bilingual movie, which is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. It is produced by Prasad V Potluri and Mahesh Babu under the banners PVP Cinema and G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Music director Mickey J Meyer is composing tunes for the film, while R Rathnavelu handles cinematography. This movie is scheduled to be released in 2016.
Mahesh Babu has already started shooting for "Brahmotsavam". He has completed the second schedule in October. He took a brief break from his filmy activities to go on a trip to Paris during Dussehra. He was joined by his wife Namrata Shirodkar and their children Gautham and Sitara.
Soon after returning from the Paris trip, Mahesh Babu resumed the shooting of "Brahmotsavam" and its third schedule is likely to go on for a month. It has been reported that he will team up with filmmaker AR Murugadoss for a bilingual flick after wrapping this up. "Talks have been going on for a while. But nothing concrete has happened on this development so far," a source close to Prince told IANS.
