Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is impressed with the trailer of forthcoming Hindi movie Ok Jaanu and he took to Twitter to praise the video of the Bollywood flick. He said that the trailer was a "visual treat."
"Saw the trailer of #OkJaanu..An absolute visual treat..Brilliant work as always by Ravi K. Chandran :) All the best sir @dop007," he tweeted. The actor rarely makes such comments and there are only a handful of instances where he had good words about a film from another language. His good words is expected to help the movie pull Telugu audience when it hits the screens on January 13.
The trailer of Ok Jaanu was released on Monday, December 12 and has garnered positive reviews. The clip introduces the main characters of the film to the audience and gives an outline of the story. Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's chemistry remains the highlight of the video.
Adi (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Tara (Shraddha Kapoor) come to Mumbai to pursue their dreams. They meet by a chance and fall in love, but their careers become a threat to their relationship. How they tackle their ambitions over matters related to the heart is the crux of the story.
Ok Jaanu is the Hindi remake Mani Ratnam's multilingual O Kadhal Kanmani, which had Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the leads. The movie was a hit at the box office. Its collections were good in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the US.
The Hindi version is directed by Shaad Ali of Saathiya fame and produced by Karan Johar.
