While many Tollywood actors are to making their Bollywood debut, there is one superstar who has no plans to act in the Hindi film industry.
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu during a recent event in Hyderabad said that he has no plans of making his Bollywood debut. He also told reporters that he would like to concentrate only on Telugu movies.
"I have already said that my contribution will be only for Telugu films. I don't have any plans to work in Bollywood," he said adding "I want to do great Telugu films and I am focusing only on that."
Babu's announcement came at the time when other Tollywood stars like Ram Charan Teja are making their debut in up north. The recent news has also put an end to rumors that Mahesh was likely to start his career in Bollywood film "I" that will be directed by Shankar.
Babu also revealed that he was getting many offers but wants to focus only in Tollywood.
According to reports, industry watchers have appreciated Babu's move and said that he has taken the decision at a time when his movies are getting good response.
The 37-year-old actor also thanked movie buffs for the positive response to his latest film "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" which features Venkatesh in the lead.
"Every time I am excited but this time I am also satisfied," he said upon the release of the film.
"Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" is a family drama that was released last week. The film is getting a huge response in India and overseas.
