AR Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu are joining hands for the first time for a movie. The film will simultaneously be made in Tamil and Telugu languages.
The latest buzz about the movie is that the makers have zeroed in on the title. Rumours are rife that the title of the movie has been finalised and it is "Enemy". It is a catchy name that strikes a chord with the masses instantly.
AR Murugadoss has often preferred striking and one-word names. Hence, this has not come as a surprise to many. But some reports say that although the makers have okayed "Enemy" as the name, they are yet to register it.
It is also not clear whether both the versions will have the same title. In Kollywood, non-Tamil titles do not get entertainment tax exemption and understanding the importance of it, AR Murugadoss may not have "Enemy" as the title of the Tamil version of the movie.
Meanwhile, reports say that AR Murugadoss has roped in Shraddha Kapoor to play the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu. He is yet to finalise other cast members. Harris Jayaraj is going to compose music for the bilingual movie, which has Santosh Sivan's cinematography.
Notably, this marks the debut of Mahesh Babu in Tamil and first straight film of Santhosh Sivan in Telugu. The film will take off next year.
Currently, AR Murugadoss is busy with his Hindi venture "Akira" starring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma. The film is the remake of Tamil hit flick "Mouna Guru".
