UPDATE: The story was updated again on 7 June to report that MSBSHSE has finalised the Maharashtra 2015 SSC results declaration date. The much-awaited class 10 results will be announced on Monday, 8 June.
Update on 6 June: The lingering confusion over the date of announcement of Maharashtra 2015 SSC results has not been cleared by the authorities. It had been originally reported (story on 2 June below) that the results would be published on 3 June. However, the latest reports suggest there is no clarity as to when the Board will announce the results.
Maharashtra's 2015 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or class 10 board exams results, which was said to be declared on 3 June, is likely to be announced on 6 June.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to officially announce SSC 2015 results declaration date in the next two days.
"The state board might officially convey the date in the next two days," Kolhapur divisional board secretary Sharad Gosavi told The Times of India. He said that the formalities for the results are over and the Board will announce it anytime between 5 and 8 June.
He said MSBSHSE will decide the date soon after distributing the HSC mark sheets at respective schools and colleges on 4 June.
"This year the whole assessment process was conducted without any hiccups. There were some moments with teachers' bodies calling in their agitation, but the timely intervention from higher authorities helped," Gosavi said.
The Maharashtra Board conducted the SSC or class 10 board exams between 3 and 26 March at 343 examination centres across the division consisting of Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara districts. Nearly 10 lakh students had registered for the 2015 examination.
Maharashtra Board had on 27 May announced the HSC (class 12 board exam) 2015 results on their official website, mahresult.nic.in.
