Gadchiroli, Feb 19 (ANI): Police recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions in a joint operation on Tuesday (February 18), which killed seven hardcore Maoists in the Kotasurya jungles in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. Acting on a tip-off by sources, police launched a joint operation and killed the Maoists in an encounter, a little after midnight in the area that lies on the red corridor that is worst affected by Maoist violence. Kadam said the massive operation would prove to be a major setback for the Maoists.
