Magicon Impex, a Hong Kong based handset manufacturer, has launched the Q50 Magnus Android smartphone in India with a price tag of ₹7,999.
The dual-SIM UltraSmart Q50 Magnus smartphone sports a 5-inch multi-touch display and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and comes with 512 MB RAM along with the option of expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD support.
The smartphone packs a 2.0-megapixel rear camera with 7X zoom capability and a VGA front camera. On the connectivity front, the device supports EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Other features of the phone include an accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, 3.5mm slot for an audio jack, microUSB port, and a 1650-mAh battery.
UltraSmart Q50 Magnus comes in white and black variants and comes with preloaded apps such as Myplex Now, a mobile TV application. The device can be purchased through various online retailers across India.
"We haven't made any compromise when it comes to functionality in our attempt to make the phone affordable," said CP Batheja, CMD, Magicon Impex.
