A 24-year-old Mumbai girl has won the Grid Girls contest. She will flag off the first grand prix at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on Sept. 30, 2011.
Madonna Tixeira, 24, who is an assistant choreographer, won the hunt for "Airtel Grid Girls," after facing weeks of tasks and challenges on the reality TV show on Zoom.
Bangalore girl Kavita Shah, 22, and another Mumbai girl Urvashi Sharma, 25, secured the first and second runners-up at the grand finale episode of the Airtel Grid Girls hunt that aired on Zoom yesterday.
The special panel of judges comprises CEO, Bharti Airtel, Maharashtra & Goa, Ramesh Menon, ace fashion designer and creator of Airtel Grid Girls' outfits, Mandira Wirk, and Bollywood actor, Esha Deol.
The grid girls will flag off the country's first Grand Prix tomorrow.
