Madonna Sebastian aka Celine of "Premam"-fame has become a sensation with the Kerala audience since the release of the blockbuster Alphonse Puthren directorial. The actress, who made her entry into the industry as a playback singer, has now released the first music video "Veruthe" of her band Everafter, with Roby Abraham and a bunch of talented artistes.
The song, which begins with "Kannodu Kannil Nokki Ninnuvo", sung by Madonna, also features Roby, Ashwin Aryan, Rex George, Joel Varghese and John Thomas. Its video has been directed by Vishnu G Raghav. While Joe Paul has penned the lyrics, editing of the video has been handled by Appu N Bhattathiri.
"We decided to start with an easy, breezy song. 'Everafter' presents 'Veruthe'. Thanks to every one of you who made this possible. There is so much more coming up this year. Peace and love!!! Cheers!!! (sic)" Roby wrote while sharing the music video on Facebook.
The 3:31-minute song has been receiving positive response from the audience and has been viewed by more than 34,000 social media users in less than a day of its release. Madonna, who enjoys a huge fan following in Kerala, is also being lauded by music-lovers for her vocals in the peppy song.
Earlier, director Vishnu had shared his experience on working with the music band. "It was great working with the team. It was more than just a work to me, since it was my opportunity to do something back for Roby Abraham for all the support he has given me for my previous works, (sic)" wrote Vishnu on his Facebook page.
