Shailesh Yadav, son of Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, was found dead on the floor of his room in Lucknow on Wednesday. The cause of his death is suspected to be brain haemorrhage, reports NDTV.
He was one of the accused in the Vyapam scam, which was unearthed in 2013.
Shailesh is alleged to have acted as a middle man for his father to get people jobs. He was chargesheeted for allegedly accepting Rs 3 lakh in cash to ensure that 10 candidates cleared the examination for contractual teachers.
A case had been lodged against Shailesh Yadav. The manipulation in selection process for government jobs, conducted by Vyapam, is being probed by a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Ram Naresh Yadav is currently being treated for breathing problems in a hospital in Bhopal.
