At least nine people died after a bus fell into a river in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
Death toll in the accident is expected to increase.
Rescue operations are still underway, ANI reported.
The Madhya Pradesh Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh has ordered an investigation into the matter and has asked for a report within the next 24 hours.
