Actress Madhuurima, who was recently seen in a special song in "Kotha Janta", is set to make her comeback. She will be seen next in director Puri Jagannadh's forthcoming film starring Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. She will be playing an important role in this yet-to-be titled role.
In a statement to The Times of India, Madhuurima revealed that she was in Goa to shoot for the film in the last week. "It happened all of a sudden and all that Puri Jagannadh said was that I would suit the character he had in mind. I wouldn't refuse a Puri's film, even if I'm not playing the main lead character," the leading English daily quoted the actress as saying.
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Madhuurima started her acting career with Bollywood movie "Toss: A Flip of Destiny" in 2009. She forayed into Telugu film industry with the movie "Aa Okkadu" in the same year. Later, she played the female lead in Telugu film "Saradaga Kasepu".
Later, Madhuurima made some special appearance in the movies like "Orange", "Mahankali", "Shadow", "Veta", "Kotha Janta" and "Green Signal". When quizzed about it, she says that she had several offers, but she wanted to complete her degree. Hence she did not any accept any offer.
"I got plenty of big offers soon after I made my debut, but back then I was determined to complete my law degree. I like living my life in phases. Back then, my education was my priority, but now, I've dedicated myself to my work completely. I like taking up opportunities as they come and I'm just chasing my dreams in film industry in this phase," the actress told TOI.
Madhuurima has also made her debut in Kannada with "Savaari 2", in Malayalam with "Koothara" and in Tamil with "Serndhu Polama" in the year 2014. Currently, the actress has Vishal's Tamil film "Ambala" and Hindi movie "Ishq Ne Crazy Kiya Re" lined up for shooting.
