After Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who have their wax statues in Madame Tussauds in London, another Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is all set to get her own wax statue in the famous wax museum in London.
Confirming the news, the 44-year-old actress wrote on her micro blogging site Twitter on Thursday that "Madame Tussaud's made the announcement and I am confirming it. Will be in London in March to introduce my likeness! Thanks for all ur support."
"The award winning actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene is the latest Indian film star set to join the A-list line up here at Madame Tussauds London," said an announcement by the Museum authority.
The announcement also mentioned that "the decision to include Madhuri is set to delight Bollywood fans around the world as we are constantly inundated with requests to feature Madhuri."
The actress will wear a sari by fashion designer Manish Malhotra and is likely to be involved in the creation process closely to ensure authenticity.
Earlier, the museum authority also announced the details of Madhuri's wax statue.
Her hair will flow loosely over her shoulders, styled to show off her long tresses to the full effect. The figure will cost £150,000 to create and take a team of sculptors, hair, makeup and wardrobe experts four months to complete it, revealed the museum authority.
Madhuri's wax replica will be kept in the museum in company of other Bollywood celebrities' wax statues like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.
