Vivian Dsena, who won hearts as Rishab Kundra (RK) in superhit show "Madhubala â€" Ek Ishq Ek Junoon," will soon return on television.
According to a Telly Chakkar report, the actor has bagged a new show on Colors TV channel, which will see him in a never-seen-before avatar. Tentatively titled "Gurdaspur," the show will be a Punjabi family drama and will initially revolve around the strong emotional bond between Vivian's character and his uncle.
"The serial will be a family drama with its backdrop as Punjab. Tentatively titled 'Gurdaspur', it will have Vivian as the lead, in a brand new avatar," a source told the web-portal. "Work has been happening at a fast pace for this show. And the team plans to start shoot for it pretty soon," the source added.
Sudesh Berry, who was last seen in "Begusarai" and "Siya Ke Ram," will be seen playing the role of Vivian's uncle. "Yes, work is happening on the show. Surprisingly I am a Punjabi, and this will be my very first role in all these years in a Punjabi get-up," Sudesh said.
Apart from "Madhubala â€" Ek Ishq Ek Junoon," Vivian charmed the audience with his dancing skills on dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8."
Meanwhile, Colors TV will soon roll out another new show "Kasam" that has Ssharad Malhotra in the lead role. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, rumour has it that Yuvika Choudhary of "Bigg Boss 9" fame has been roped in to play the female lead role on the show.
