Television's current reigning queen, Drasti Dhami, better known for her role in 'Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" has bagged the "Jahalak Dikhala Ja 6" trophy with dance partner Salman Yusuf Khan.
Drashti has beaten the likes of professional dancer Lauren Gottlieb, child artiste duo Sonali-Suman and singer Shaan, to lift the coveted trophy and the ₹50-lakh prize money.
The winning Drashti-Salman pair performed to visual-effects enhanced performance on "Yayai Re Yayi Re" song from the 1995 blockbuster "Rangeela".
The actress on winning the trophy said, "I want to thank everyone. My mom, who is not here right now, she is out of town...I love you mommy! I want to thank my friends, Salman's friends.."
Lauren Gotilleb scored the second spot, Sonali-Suman took the third while Shaan made it to the fourth position.
The result was declared combining the three judges' scores along with public votes.
Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza handed over the trophy and cheque to the winning couple in the absence of third judge, Madhuri Dixit.
The starry finale was attended by the "Krrish 3" lead pair Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra and saw star performances from the top four dancing pairs.
Hrithik was seen matching steps with the show's contestants and performing to a song from the film with Priyanka Chopra.
The celebrity dance show which began on 1 June had also featured Shweta Tiwari, Karanvir Bohra, Siddharth, Meghna Malik, Suresh Menon, Ekta Kaul, Aarti Chabaria, and Krishnamachari Srikkanth.
