If the previously released Tom Hardy-starrer Mad Max movie wasn't enough to get you jump from your seats, we are sure the Mad Max game will take care of that. And in all fairness, the game adaptation of the movie does seem pretty neat and rich.
However, as things stand in the modern-day gaming industry, hardly any game is perfect, and more often than not, there are several niggling issues that affect the overall gameplay experience. And sadly, Mad Max is also in the list.
As far as the PS4 game is concerned, if you know your controller mapping well, you will notice that the touchpad on the PS4 is used to activate the map. However, a rare glitch sometimes makes the touchpad unresponsive.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game won't solve the issue, and neither will changing controllers.
However, take heart Mad Max fans, as a potential fix to the issue is right inside the gameplay. There are two ways to fix the problem. One way is to finish your current objective, irrespective of whichever objective you are on. This makes the touchpad work properly.
The second fix to the situation is to pick up some scrap. Scraps can be picked up by destroying enemy vehicles or moving into a scavenge location. Players are advised to follow either of the two fixes to make the game run properly once more.
Are any of the above mentioned fixes for the game working out for you? Let us know in the comments section below.
