Actor Siddharth, who speaks his mind without any fear ofsocietal issues, has come down heavily on the RSS and BJP after the mob lynched a man allegedly for cow smuggling. In strong words, he has criticised the right-wing politics.
Reacting to BJP MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja's comment who held cops responsible for the death of Akbar Khan, accused to be a habitual cow smuggler, he tweeted, "A #BJP MLA has said the Police in #Alwar killed Rakbar Khan and blamed it on Hindus. This is the level of bullshit floating around after a man was murdered by a mob. And #BJP accuses others of politicizing this issue. Lynching is your legacy #BJP RSS #VHP Stop the lynching! [sic]"
The actor recalled the previous incident of lynching like in Alwar in Haryana and posted, "The men who murdered #PehluKhan have been protected and will not be punished. #RakbarKhan was murdered and the same will happen. #Rajasthan has truly gone to the cows and the hyenas that protect them. Mera Bharat Kahaan? [sic]"
He also hitback at Rajyavardhan Rathore tweet slamming Rahul Gandhi for his statement. The actor asked a few questions to the BJP leader as he posted, "Did a man get lynched? Was this related to cattle and #Gaurakshaks? Was the victim a Muslim? Was he taken to a gaushala before hospital? YES. The police already failed. #Justice you say? You're on the other side of that Mr. Rathore. STOP being a coward! [sic]"
However, his comments have met with criticism from the right-wing followers, who have accused him of "selective-outrage."
