Ludhiana, Sep 28 (ANI): On the occasion of World
Heart Day, a hospital in Ludhiana held a marathon
with the aim of motivating people to run daily in
order to maintain a healthy heart and body. On Sunday
around 2500 people, including leading professionals,
athletes, senior citizens, patients and doctors from
Amritsar, Jammu, Chandigarh and other nearby regions
participated in the marathon. The marathon was
flagged off by former hockey player, Pargat Singh. In
a massive show of solidarity and unity for the
purpose of spreading the message of a strong heart
and emphasizing on the need for a healthy lifestyle,
hundreds of doctors along with their families, ran
for the cause called 'Dil ki Daud' (Race for heart).
