Season 6 of "Love & Hip-Hop: New York" has been off to a great start with juicy drama, great rhymes and characters that pop out and make an impression. The show began in a club where Remy Ma, who spent over six years in prison, was performing after her long break.
Although her husband Papoose is still worried about her being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Remy's comeback inspired her friend Rah Ali to get back on track and enter the rap business as the manager for the rap-duo BBOD.
Although she tries her best to get them new gigs and promote their music, SexxyLexxy and MissMoeMoney who form BBOD are knee-deep in drama; specifically with Young B of "Chicken Noodle Soup" fame. They get into a tiff where they are both showcasing their skills, and neither Rah Ali, nor Young B's manager Yandy Smith-Harris is happy with it.
Meanwhile, the Tara-Peter-Amina love triangle has almost reached its breaking point, especially now that both ladies are living in the same building. Peter had gotten Tara to move in closer to him so that he could spend time with his sons, who live with Tara. Although his wife Amina was uncomfortable with the living situation, she agreed because she wanted the boys to be close to their father.
However, what Amina feared has already happened, and Peter slept with his former girlfriend Tara ahead of the Season 6 premiere. Although Peter hopes to recreate their old romance, Tara is tired of being on-again, off-again with Peter and warns him that she wants to be away from the "fu**ery" that Peter and Amina have created.
She invites Amina to her apartment so that Peter can honestly tell her what is going on in his life. Something tells us it is not going to go down so well with Amina.
Watch out for Season 6 Episode 2 of "Love & Hip-Hop: New York" at 8 pm (EST) on Monday, 14 December. You can also live-stream "Secrets and Lies" via VH1 website.
