[IBTimes Review: 'Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi': 'Avatar' plot clad in 'Life of Pi' visual effects]
Multi-starrer "Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi", directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon, hit theatres on Friday, 16 October locking horns with Nadirshah's comedy film "Amar Akbar Anthony".
The film, mainly shot in the forests in Wayanad and Idukki, is a fantasy project throwing light at preserving the environment. The film revolves around eight people, who are trying to save a fictional village, which on the verge of being destroyed.
"Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi" has no protogonist as such but has Kunchako Boban, Sunny Wayne, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod, Reenu Mathews, Jacob Gregory, Sudheer Karamana and Bharath in the lead roles.

The film's trailer has been well accepted by the audience and the fact that the director is a National award winning filmmaker raises the expectations of the film. His previous films were "North 24 Kaatham" and "Sapthamashree Thaskaraha".

Lord Livingstone 7000 kandi has fresh subject and fresh visuals. Supported essembly by VFX, the film is boosted by a matured performance from Chackochan, Nedumudi Venu, Sunny Wayne, Jacob Gregory, Sudheer Karamana, Reenu Mathews and Chemban Vinod. Impressed by Nebish Benson, the small yet the most challenging role came by his way so far.
What deserves a salute is Stephy Xavior's costume designing. Excellent work! Happened to read her interview few days back and saw how much of a research she put in. Hats off. The hardwork has paid off.
