The mystery around Season 5 of "Longmire" is finally clearing up a little, with news trickling in that shooting for the upcoming episodes has started in New Mexico. Keeping with the Netflix tradition of maintaining secrecy around its shows, there is still no update about the actual release date for the new season.
However, the filming for the new season began March 23, and the premiere will reportedly be held September via Netflix. Fans will have to wait until then, after which, of course, they can binge-watch all the episodes at one go.
Meanwhile, Just Jared Jr has confirmed that Sterling Beaumon, best known for his roles in "Lost" and "Clue," has been hired for Season 5 of "Longmire." He will play Andrew Price, a "smart a-- prep school kid," who will be caught breaking into Donna Monaghan's (Ally Walker) house. It is understood that when caught by Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and Vic Moretti (Kate Sackhoff), he will claim to be Donna's son.
