Iranian model Mandana Karimi, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Hollywood actress Elizabeth "Liz" Hurley, will reportedly play the female lead in the third instalment of producer Ekta Kapoor's "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum" franchise.
Ekta Kapoor, who is known for encouraging new talents, has roped in Mandana Karimi for "Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum 3", which is currently in the pre-production stage. The producer wants the Iranian model to dub for this movie. Hence, she has suggested her to take Hindi lessons, reported The Times of India.
Mandana Karimi has got a degree as flight attendant in Tehran. Having started her modelling in Malaysia, she has walked the ramp for fashion designers such as JJ Valaya, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Rohit Bal, Anna Singha and Satya Paul.
Besides being featured in some TV advertisements, the model has starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Royal Stag ad and with Kareena Kapoor in Sony Ericsson ad. She was also the cover girl for Stuff India magazine's August issue and Kruch Today's October issue in 2013.
She is set to make her acting debut with Vikram Bhatt's Bollywood film, "Bhaag Johnny", starring Konal Khemu and Zoa Morani in the lead roles.
"Kyaa Kool Hain Hum" will be her second film, in which she plays one of the two female leads. Further details about her role are unavailable as the "Grand Masti" fame writers - Milap Zaveri and Mushtaq Sheikh - are said to be still busy with the script.
However, "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum" is a sex comedy, featuring Tusshar Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Isha Koppikar and Neha Dhupia in the lead roles. Its huge success encouraged the producers to do a sequel, "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", which has become even bigger success than the first. Considering the viewers' response, the makers are now returning with the much-awaited third instalment.
